Major Duties

Under general supervision, the Assistant to the MBA Director efficiently conducts recruitment and admissions processes, gathers and analyzes enrollment data, and supports accreditation reporting. Responsibilities include:

  • Carries out recruitment and admissions processes for the MBA program(s).
  • Conducts database management processes for program annual report, rankings, and AACSB reporting purposes.
  • Oversees the review, analysis, and admission processes for applicants of the MBA program(s).
  • Coordinates the advisement process, material, and information for all prospective MBA applicants and current students.
  • Collaborates professionally with DNCBE Departments for scheduling needs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Equivalent to graduation from an accredited four-year college or university in a job-related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Equivalent to three (3) years of full-time, progressively responsible technical, analytical, or administrative experience.
  • Additional experience in job-related field may be substituted for up to two years of the required education, on a year for year basis.

 

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Knowledge of graduate admissions and enrollment management — including recruitment strategies, application processes, and student lifecycle management for MBA programs.
  • Analytical and data interpretation skills — ability to collect, analyze, and report on enrollment trends, program demand, and student progress to inform strategic planning.
  • Strong communication and marketing skills — proficiency in developing outreach materials, managing digital content, and promoting programs to prospective and current students.
  • Project and organizational management abilities — capacity to coordinate multiple admissions, reporting, and marketing initiatives effectively in a fast-paced academic environment.

 

Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule

  • The university offers an excellent benefits package, including but not limited to: medical, dental, vision, retirement & savings, tuition waiver and more.
  • Classification: Admin Analyst/Spclst / 1038/ Grade 2
  • The anticipated HIRING RANGE: $5274 - $6059 per month, dependent upon qualifications and experience. The salary range for this classification is: $5274 - $7684 per month.
  • HOURS: Full Time; 40 hours per week; Monday through Friday; may include evenings and weekends.  
  • This is a Regular position with a one-year probationary period. 
  • The individual hired for this role will physically work on-campus in Northridge. This is not a telecommute position.
