Compensation and Benefits
Hiring Salary: $5,720/month
- This is a full-time, exempt position.
The Fresno State Athletic Corporation provides a comprehensive benefit package that includes medical, dental and vision plans, participation in the California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS), and sick and vacation time. Job Summary
- Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the Compliance Services Office.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of revenue share program, ensuring strict compliance with Fresno State policies, California State Law, NCAA rules and any other applicable regulations.
- Serve as the contact for revenue sharing and NIL related platforms (e.g. LBi, NIL GO) to manage documentation, education, and reporting.
- Collaborate with campus partners, department staff and other stakeholders
- Develop and implement a rules education program surrounding revenue sharing and NIL
- Oversee facets of NCAA and Conference rules
- Provide NCAA Rules Interpretations.
- Process violations, waivers, and Student-Athlete Reinstatements
- Assist in the oversight in the areas of Personnel, Amateurism, Recruiting, Eligibility, Financial Aid, Awards & Benefits, Playing & Practice Seasons, & Membership
- Perform day-to-day responsibilities monitoring, NCAA Bylaw 11 (Personnel), NCAA Bylaw 12 (Amateurism), Bylaw 14 (Academic Eligibility), & other Bylaws as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned by the Senior Associate Athletics Director of Compliance
Key Qualifications
- Working knowledge of NCAA Bylaws
- Experience drafting NCAA violations and waivers
- Working knowledge of NCAA applications
- Experience conducting rules education presentations
- Ability to:
- Analyze and research NCAA bylaws
- Communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Exercise professional independent judgment and discretion
- Work cooperatively with coaches, staff, faculty, students and members of the community
- Maintain strict confidentiality and appropriately manage sensitive information
- Ability and willingness to support the diversity and equity commitments of the department
- Commitment to academic integrity and compliance with University, conference and NCAA regulations

Education and Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year institution.
- A minimum of three years of progressively responsible experience in an NCAA Compliance office, starting at the Graduate Assistant level
- Experience working at Division I FBS level
- Previous experience using NCAA Compliance Systems
- Experience with contracts, licensing agreements and intellectual property rights

Following a conditional offer of employment, a background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily before any candidate may start work with California State University, Fresno. This position may be a "designated position" under the California State University's Conflict of Interest Code. This will require the filing of a Statement of Economic Interest on an annual basis and the completion of training within six (6) months of assuming office and every two (2) years thereafter.
